About the Role: South57 Recruitment is looking for a Chef de Partie for our client, a renowned and luxurious hotel in Luton, is seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join their esteemed culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to contribute to a high-end dining experience and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, following recipes and guidelines.
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the development of new menu items.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Food Safety Certificate Level 2
  • Allergens certificate
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Creativity and passion for food.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
