About the Role: South57 Recruitment is looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie for our client, a renowned and luxurious hotel in Luton, is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join their esteemed culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to contribute to a high-end dining experience and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, following recipes and guidelines.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the development of new menu items.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
- Food Safety Certificate Level 2
- Allergens certificate
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creativity and passion for food.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
